It is perfect for a families or traveling companions for an extended weekend stay like a football weekends, weddings, or retreats. The two room suite provides a separate sleeping area with 2 rococco, Queen sized beds hand-carved from solid mahogany, a plasma television and DVD player, and a fabulous view of the pool area.
The large living are features a complete wet bar, an elegant antique dining table/game table, and a comfortable lounge area with reclining leather seating and a second HD television. The living area also provides 2 twin sized beds perfect for groups traveling together.

The dramatic Foyer makes an immediate grand entrance to Fountainview Mansion. With its soaring 25' ceiling and twin staircases, the foyer serves as an elegant reception hall to receive your guests. Lighting the foyer is a dramatic 7' hand-cut crystal chandelier in the empire style. With 78 lights, it's prisms glisten with a myriad of colors often being reflected in the elegant travertine marble floors. It is graced by a 12' pier mirror originally from a Baltimore, MD mansion dating from the 1800's.
The formal Living Room with its grand scale is an enchanting room. Bathed in the warmth of it pistachio hued walls with magnificent crown moldings, the room evokes the grandeur of another place and time. The marble fireplace with its custom mantel is topped by an antique French pier mirror in the rococo style dating from the 1700's. Custom draperies by designer Deborah Broughton in rich muted fabrics were inspired by designs from draperies at the White House lending an aura of grace and historical significance. The room is furnished by a magnificent 6 piece Louis XV style salon set. The set features a perfectly proportioned sofa and 4 arm chairs (fauteuils) upholstered in an elegant Goblain style tapestry fabric. The table topped in elegant polished cream marble completes the lovely suite. All pieces in the suite have been hand carved and are expertly finished in rich gold leaf. The classical Goblain style tapestry fabric used in finishing the sofa and chairs makes this magnificent salon suite suitable for a royal residence. The furnishings in the living room have been specifically selected to provide flexibility in arrangement and seating. Salon furnishings can easily be removed with the room accommodating 4 - 5 round tables for sit-down dinners.
The warmth of the Hearth Room on the main floor is the perfect place for morning coffee, reading a book by the fireplace or catching up on current affairs prior to your gourmet breakfast. The entire room was architecturally designed around the 16th century French Gothic mantel with its classic dark stain lending the feel of a posh English drawing room. With plush, comfortable furnishings inspired by old-world craftsmanship, the room evokes a comparable feel to rooms at Biltmore house. With its furnishings upholstered in a rich cut velvet fabric and bullion fringe in shades of deep ruby and burnished gold, the room provides the perfect spot for elegant yet comfortable relaxation and conversation. The 19th century French Briton armoire provides space for the large plasma television to catch up on current affairs.
The formal Dining Room with its muted blush coral walls provides some of the most exquisite and elegant space within the mansion. Featuring monumental windows with custom draperies inspired by window treatments at the White House and Biltmore House, the formal dining room provides a regal yet warm and ambient space for guests to enjoy. The large room features a monumental, 45-light Maria Theresa crystal chandelier. A centerpiece and grand focal point of the room is the monumental hand-carved Rosetta marble mantel hand carved in Italy which was obtained from a Florida gallery and selected specifically to match the decor of this grand room. The dining room speaks the grace and elegance of a by-gone age. Custom artwork by Waycross, GA artist, Rachel Settle, graces the walls.
The furnishings in the formal dining room are predominantly American hand-carved walnut pieces. The dining table, chairs, and monumental marble topped server grace the room enhanced by an 1880 English breakfront which blends seamlessly with the American antiques.
The dining room can be used in a variety of configurations including a formal sit-down dinner utilizing the main dining table, a sit-down dinner with multiple tables, an elegant buffet or even a corporate or university meeting.

The formal Study & Library is one of the most intimate rooms at Fountainview Mansion. With its walls completely clad in richly stained cypress and antique floors in historic heart of pine formerly installed as the ceiling of a church in south Alabama, the study provides a warm and elegant meeting space for consultations, intimate board meetings or reading a great book. The study provides a myriad of reading materials as well as exquisite gift items for you to remember your special stay. The study furnishings can be reconfigured to accommodate guest tables for an intimate meal, to display the grooms cake for a wedding reception, or hold a VIP board meeting.
The desk of French design features brass ormolu details and magnificent wood inlays. The Venetian filing cabinet, one of the most exquisite pieces in the mansion dates from the late 1800's, hand-carved in walnut. The room also features a magnificent wrought iron chandelier and sconces, 11' windows providing an exquisite view of the rear terrace and pool, as well as a marble fireplace with a custom hand-carved mantel.
The Grand Salon is the largest interior space in the mansion and has been the setting for numerous receptions and corporate meetings. Originally designed to be a large formal sitting room, the spacious room now is used exclusively for entertaining and meetings. The lovely floors are antique wood formerly from the ceiling of a church in South Alabama. The magnificent space features glass on one entire wall overlooking the spectacular pool and grounds. In addition, the room features a built-in plasma television system with connections for client's computer or to play a couples commemorative DVD during a rehearsal dinner or wedding reception.
