Kensington is one of the most elegant rooms in
the mansion. Decorated in soft and elegant shades
of cream, taupe, and warm hues of blue, the
Kensington evokes a feeling of old-world charm
coupled with all the luxurious creature comforts one
would expect in a luxury inn. The antique Louis XV
furnishings date from the 1880's. The original set
hand-carved in walnut in the original finish
includes a magnificent armoire housing a large, flat
screen television & DVD player, exquisite custom
draperies, a spectacular crystal chandelier and
a queen sized bed. Also, the divided bath boasts a whirlpool tub with a spectacular view of the Auburn
countryside and sunset. Come home to the Kensington
and experience one of the most luxurious rooms in
the mansion.
